This short course is full.
We are organizing a short course in horticulture at the Lepaa campus in April 2025. The course lasts five days and is conducted in person. The course is free of charge. You will learn practical tasks and the basics of horticulture. The course includes first aid and occupational safety card training.
The language of instruction is Easy Finnish. After the course, you can find employment in the horticulture sector, possibly as early as spring or summer.
We will announce the exact course dates as soon as possible.
You can participate in the training if you are a recent graduate, unemployed, or an immigrant.
The training is part of the HAALARI – wear work clothes. The aim of the project is to promote the employment of recent graduates, the unemployed, and immigrants in the agriculture, forestry, and horticulture sectors or related businesses. The project is co-funded by the Häme ELY Centre and the European Union.
